Connect.

To put together.

To secure or fasten something to something else.

Connecting.

Finding common ground with someone else.

When one thing is connected to another by a mutual understanding or commonality.

Connect.

When I let down my guard to show others who I am and they show me who they are and we see that we have more in common than we thought because we’re human and humans are made of the same stuff and humans have the same needs and why do we not connect more?

Connecting means opening up which means being vulnerable and I don’t know about you but I’ve tried that and it wasn’t great, it was down right awful and yet that seems to be a long time ago now and do I really want to keep staying in this place of unconnectedness?

It takes courage to connect.

It takes a willingness to allow others to see the dirt. The undesirable weaknesses in us. In me.

What if they laugh? What if I’m the only one? Is it worth the risk? Is it really worth going back to that place of agonizing, ripped open pain?

Hmmmm…

Connected.

Connected to Christ

Who heals

Who strengthens

Who gives us life and freedom and joy

If I’m connected to Him where are my enemies?

Under HIS feet!

They are vanquished, defeated.

Their mouths are shut.

no words can connect me to them

none of my actions are held against me anymore

I’ve repented.

I’ve DISconnected myself from their sting by the blood of Jesus.

I’m washed

I’m clean and whole

I’m connected to the cross of Christ

it is no longer I who lives but Christ who lives in me

I’m connected all right

I’ m connected to the creator of the universe…by blood

a blood that binds

that sets free and a blood that connects me to grace

forgiveness

I”m connected

my new name is: called, chosen, child of the Most High

I’m connected to royalty

I’m a daughter of the King

my blood line is unbreakable

I’m my beloved’s and He is mine and His banner over me is LOVE.

I’m connected.
